Stripe Seller Registration Instructions
- Select your account purpose
- Check “I want to sell products and receive payouts” when registering.
- Get started with Stripe
- Click Get Started.
- Verify that your prefilled email is correct, then click Continue.
- Create a password, then click Continue.
- Set up two-step authentication
- We recommend using your phone for two-step authentication.
- Enter your phone number and click Continue.
- Enter the verification code sent by Stripe via text.
- Screenshot or save your emergency backup code.
- Select your business type
- Set your location.
- Select Individual if you are a single seller.
- Select Business if you are registering on behalf of a tackle shop.
- Enter your personal information
- This information is used by Stripe for tax and identity verification purposes and is not stored by Second Catch.
- Enter your:
- Birthdate
- Home address, matching your license or official documents
- Phone number
- Last 4 digits of your Social Security number
- This is used solely for Stripe reporting and verification and is not stored by Second Catch.
- Connect your bank account
- Stripe uses Plaid's secure API to link your bank account.
- No banking information is saved by Second Catch.
- Statement descriptor
- Leave the statement descriptor prefilled.
- Enter your phone number and address if prompted.
- Review and submit
- Verify that all information is correct.
- Click Submit.
